Matt Haller Memorial Hockey Game

We are excited and honored to be able to create a website for the Matt Haller Memorial Hockey Game. This is truly something we love to be behind.

Matt’s friends, family, and supporters are coming together to put on a hockey game in his honor to raise funds for the Cullen Haller Educational Trust, to make sure that Cullen’s educational expenses are one thing his mother won’t have to worry about in the future. Matt had a lifelong passion for hockey and this is a way to honor him and support his family he sadly had to leave behind.

The proceeds from the game go to support Cullen Haller’s Education

Matt Haller died in March of 2019 after bravely battling a rare form of stomach cancer. Matt lived a mile from the now-closed Sterigenics plant in Willowbrook, and was an outspoken proponent for closing the plant. In fact, Matt’s legacy will live on, as the Illinois General Assembly passed the Matt Haller Act in June of 2019, calling for some of the strictest restrictions on ethylene oxide emissions and facilities in the nation.

It’s Been an amazing honor to do anything for such a cause. We wish all the best to the Hallers and their loved ones. If you would like more information on the game, Matt, or would like to help in any way, please visit the site at MattHallerHockey.com. You can also find the donation link below.
